It was announced via Twitter that Blizzard’s and Legendary’s upcoming Warcraft movie finished its last day of shooting.

The movie, which makes it way to the box office March 11, 2016, isn’t completely finished though. It is just done shooting. There is still lots of post- production type stuff since I’m sure there will be a lot of CGI to work on. I mean, it is a fantasy movie. The total number of days it took the shoot was 123 according to The Wrap, which was primarily shot in Vancouver BC Canada. The primary cast includes the names of  (In alphabetical order) Clancy Brown, Dominic Cooper. Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Rob Kazinsky,  Toby Kebbell, Paula Patton, and Daniel Wu.

The movie has been largely kept secret as no teasers or trailers have been released, and only 1 photo of on the set. The image was first reported on darkhorizons. The movie is set to come out in 2D and 3D.

For those of you wanting to catch up on some Warcraft lore and some random reading, I put together a amazon list for books that I have read from the Warcraft and World of Warcraft novels. Personally I am not a big lore person, but I think these novels were a good read. You will notice that they are all form 2001-2007, which is when I believe the books were at their best. I find that the newer versions aren’t as good.
